Toddler Lunch Plan

I am having a problem figuring out my sons day to day meals. I just dont know what is a suitable healthy option for breakfast lunch and dinner. This morning he had french toast. But i have no idea what to make him for lunch. dinner most of the time i just cut up whatever we are having but sometimes it isnt suitable so i get stumped at what to make him. If buying those gerber or beechnut werent so expensive id buy more of those to help me on the days where i get stumped. As he gets older i know it will get easier since i wont have to worry as much.

  1. This is a constant struggle for me as well. My son is 13.5 months old. He eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as an afternoon snack. For lunch, he sometimes gets leftovers or I make him ham and cheese sandwiches (all cut up). My favorite thing to make him for breakfast is a 1 egg cheese omelet with some sausage and some fruit on the side. Dinner is usually part of what we are eating. I always make sure to have a veggie side for dinner no matter what is on the menu. Usually it's some protein (chicken, steak, pork, or fish) mixed with some carb (rice or wheat pasta). Snacks could be anything, my favorite is to give him yogurt with fresh fruit mixed in, apple sauce, or cereal bars (his favorite). It's hard to try and keep the variety going. I could go on and on about the various things I've given him. Email me sometime if you want to swap menu ideas :)
    Good luck!

  2. Yea id love to. See I have a hard time with certain foods still and he is 14 months. he shoves too much food into his mouth and then chokes so i have to limit how much i put on his try and how hard it is. we just recently introduced apples and he is doing ok with them. but last month he couldnt. He is very impatient. so as soon as he sits in the highchair i gotta be quick with prep even if i give him cheerios and goldfish to hold him over LOL he just eats SOO much. Hes a tank but yet hes a little guy i have no idea where he puts it.
